MT Baseball Rollin'

Coach Peterson has the MT baseball team rolling along. This past weekend they picked up their 3rd Sun Belt series sweep of the season by sweeping Arkansas-Little Rock. The team is 20-4 overall and atop the Sun Belt Conference standings.

The Middle Tennessee Athletic Department announced today that it will be auctioning off three "Black-out" football jersey's from the Blue Raiders' dramatic last-second win over Florida Atlantic on national television this past season. The on-line auction will be on GoBlueRaiders.com and will get underway on Monday, March 30 and will conclude on April 16 at 5 PM CST.

The jerseys to be auctioned will be No. 4, No. 12, and No. 66 with a minimum starting bid of $150 for each one. Bids will be submitted for each jersey individually and the winners will be announced at halftime of the upcoming spring game on April 18.

When bidding opens Monday, click on the blackout jersey on GoBlueRaiders.com to begin your quest of obtaining part of Middle Tennessee history.

Remember there is a scrimmage today in Floyd Stadium! Flex is at 11am with things getting cranked up at about 11:25. The rain is gone and the sun is breaking out come out and support the Blue Raiders.

Coaching Clinic Day 1

The 2009 MT Football Coaches clinic kicked off this morning at 10am and we are still going strong as this post goes up. So far coaches have had the opportunity to hear from new OC Tony Franklin, DC Manny Diaz, and position coaches Les Herrin and Steve Ellis. Coaches also got the opportunity to get up close and personal by watching drills during today's practice.
